Fast-growing utility locating company looking to hire an office assistant to help us with a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is very organized, proficient with technology like MS Office/Google Apps and is someone who is familiar with the construction industry.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing employee time cards and assisting office manager with payroll
  • Collecting receipts and processing employee expenses reports
  • Helping estimating department prepare proposals, bids and RFPs
  • Filing and general organization of files
  • Assist project managers with scheduling
  • Manage and keep CRM database up to date and without errors
  • Answering company phone and transferring to appropriate extensions
  • Miscellaneous research and data entry tasks
  • Other similar/related administrative duties

Job 2: Bidding Assistant

2M Locating, LLC is looking for a resourceful Construction Bidding Assistant to join our fast-growing utility locating and mapping company headquartered in West Sacramento, CA. Covering the entire state of California, our team locates, verifies and maps underground utilities before construction companies start digging/excavating. Our team helps keep people and job sites safe while preventing damage from accidentally hitting underground electrical, gas, water, etc. lines when they dig. 

Our core service offerings include: Utility Locating, Ground Penetrating Radar, Concrete Scanning, Potholing Utilities / Hydro Excavation, Utility and Land Surveying. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but other duties may be assigned:

  • -Searching various bidding websites for qualified jobs to bid (planetbids, bidboard, and similar)
  • -Prepare and organize all needed documentation for RFPs, Proposals and Bid Forms
  • -Work with Estimating Department and Office Manager to create bid and plug in project details, pricing and terms
  • -Manage and keep CRM database up to date and without errors
  • -Miscellaneous research and data entry
  • -Other similar/related administrative duties

Knowledge of the following software is preferred but not required:

-Google Apps (gdrive, gmail, gcal, gdocs etc.)

-Pipedrive (CRM)

-Pandadoc (Bid Software)
